Netflix TV Shows to Binge Watch for Corona Del Mar Residents

Exercise With Parkinson’s Disease

 

A great way to keep muscles strong is to participate in exercise. Patients with Parkinson’s disease should engage in activities and exercises to maintain flexibility and keep muscles strong. Although exercise will not cure or prevent Parkinson’s from advancing, it is a great way to keep joints flexible and muscles strong. Depending on the condition each patient will participate in different exercises. Start of with warm up and stretching exercises to loosen up the muscles. Then engage in strengthening exercise to keep the muscles and joints strong. Water therapy exercises are great to help with those with balance problems. Exercise with bars and rails to prevent falling.
